Designa Chassis Fuel Tank

Anybody know if a compatible tanks is available for the Series 3 chassis.
The manufacturer no longer produces fuel tanks only chassis due to EU rules

just get an allie beer keg they use them all the time on trikes and custom cars ive even seen one on a morris 1000 pick up plus they are nice and soft to drill and tap

what so different about them that yer can't just bung a normal tank in?

Speak to the boys at John Craddock Landrover spares mate. I got a new fuel tank for my series two from them last Autumn and it fit no problem. To my knowledge there's no difference between the chassis & fuel tanks on either 2's or 3's!

They need a little cut out to clear the front mounting of the rear radius arm.

They do when they're fitted with coil sprung chassis.

aye but as no one mentioned coil springs its would seem a bit much to expect folk to think "oh! he's gort coil spadions on his series he's gonna need a different tank"
whereas in it standard guise it int gort coils and therefore the make of chassis shint make a difference to which make of tank yer bung in

I thought that's what Designa Chassis were, coil chassis for Series motors, why else would they need a special fuel tank?

they do chassis fer coils but they also do chassis fer leafers, as in standard series stuff. if yer wanting summin that int standard it best to point out it int standard as no one has rited the LZ big book of mind reading yet
