Anyone got any first hand experience of this guy's cradles? Land Rover Freelander 1 Tank Cradle Tank Strap *New Part | eBay

His ebay name is freelanderpartscompany and he would appear to have sold 5 so far - only one dodgy feedback and could well be innocent on that one - wasn't a cradle anyway.
If your input is sensitive PM me to avoid any problems.
His price might be realistic if the quality is there.
And are they relative says go fit?

Easy to fit? I meant

They're held in with 4 bolts, however getting the cradle in without first unbolting the rear subframe, is basically impossible.

It took me 3 hours to replace mine, and it's a far from pleasant job.

Having done a couple it all depends on whether the front 2 bolts come out or whether, like I had to, you have to cut them, drill and retap. Be prepared for the estimate to increase if problems are found. Dropping the subframe is essential. Removing prop is essential, well the rear connection. Exhaust can be left in place, just unhook.

Also, run tank down on fuel to reduce weight before the job and tank can then be held in place either with a jack or a ratchet strap while carrier is changed.
