hi im new to an old discovery ive got a 300tdi auto which comes with an edc, and an air flow meter and a fly by wire fuel injection pump, its a diesel, i want to know is it possible to remove all this and go back to a snardard fuel pump? as i feel thers just to much to go wrong.

nobody mentions air flow does it all go if i change fuel pump

Yes - normal manual fuel pumps don't use an ecu so don't have a maf sensor
The link explains it
