Did not realise you could get parts separate. Looking on various part suppliers and see how many manufacturers make the complete fpr with the housing with hoses I can see alot just replacing the whole unit .
 
Right I ordered the bosch regulator and seal kit . What a **** of a job arms cut blood over the inlet manifold , what a nightmare! But noticed the bosch fpr has a nipple on end and a swadge like should be a vac hose of something. Have I got wrong part of just had a extra tube / nipple instead of a plain hole ?

Sounds much easier taking the engine out to change il see what pipe I got and zip tie it out of the way .

I'm tempted to remove the inlet manifold to put back on tomorrow. My arm is looking a cat had a fight with me and very red where was wedged under the manifold!

I've done mine a few times, used a 1/4 drive socket set with a couple of extensions, its fiddly but possible.
 
Have you removed the regulator? Apparently you can access the bottom bolt by taking the wheel off and getting to it via the wheel arch. Perhaps removing the starter might get access to it from below. I hadn't had a problem with mine but I thought I would change it before putting the engine in.

I have got it off yes . Putting back on tomorrow . The lower bolt you wont get through wheel arch . My main issue bolts so tight and only being able to get a 1/4" ratchet on with a uj and 4 extensions! Starter may be a idea though
