Have a 2000 dse, an I've now lost the 2nd injector leak off pipe end plug. Anyone got a good tip to get the bloody end plug to stay on. Or do people use blanked off hose. Anytips welcomed cos its ****ing diesel and me off.
 
Thought they were interlinked....so the 2 pipes from 2nd Injector goes to Injector 1 and 3...!!
 
Final injector has a pipe in and end cap to seal it.

The end cap keeps popping off and spraying diesel everywhere.
 
Will try that, getting tempted to use some jubilee clips if i could get one on it. Freaking thing uses enough fuel without peeing it on the road as well. GGGRRRRR

Don't think they have jubile clips that small
, there supposed to have spring clips anyway , most don't gl
 
May be getting pushed off by pressure, make sure the pipes forward to the pump and onwards aren't nipped so the leak off can be to the tank not the road! Try twisting a little welding wire round it like a mini Jubilee clip.

Get a new end cap, they are a tight push fit and there should not be that much pressure unless the leak off pipes are blocked at some point.
 
This will be the third endcap that I will have fitted.

Would the length of the leak off pipes matter. As they are quite long,

They should be as short as possible to just clear the manifold:)
If you get the pipe clean and dry, you could try super gluing the end cap on, if it's an excess pressure problem it will blow a pipe off:)

By clear the manifold, should they go over the top or underneith it.
 
i know its an old thred but anyone know the right diameter of the leak off pipes?
ive found that most of the diesel im leaking is coming from the no6 and no4 injector leak off pipes
ive tryed hafords 4mm hose but its too thick walled ie. it wont fit between the injector body and the leak off nipple

3.2 mm 1/8".
