Hiya.
An elderly lady who lives just a few doors up from us was looking at the freelander and whilst generally talking she told me that she use to work in a factory where she helped to build gauges during the war
In particular she said that on fuel gauges they always use to put a small triangle or arrow to tell people which side there filler cap is on.
Had a quick look and there was indeed an arrow pointing to the right where my filler cap is.
Now i wonder if your all going to have a look !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh well, didnt think you would mind me sharing that little bit of info with you.
all the best

It is a recent feature, and certainly didn't happen (universally, there may have been exceptions) during the war. The other myth is that the position of the hose on the pump symbol will always tell you what side the filler is.

I have a filler cap on the side of my car that tells me which side the filler cap is on.........................

talking of fuel gauges is there a low fuel warning light on an FL1 i have had mine to the bottom of the red but hav,nt seen a low fuel light come on

There is on mine, would be nice to have an audible 'bong' when it comes on though....

What more do you want. When the arrow is nearing the red you should consider adding some fuel.:5bsifone: a smokable bong with every tenner of fuel would be nice.

Went into that Mmmad shop in Cork city center the other day. The amount of bongs they got in there is unreal!
