My first post so hi everyone.

The fuel filter is clogged and needs changing. I looked under the electric box on rh side in the engine compartment but not there. I search of google suggests its above the near side rear wing but not sure.

Please would someone help me locate and a rough procedure of how to get access any tips if you have done a filter change would be great.

Its a Freelander Diesel 54 plate and an S 5 door.
Thanks!

jack it up and remove the wheel and the wheelarch liner for easy access.

search the forum for more info.....

Hi,
My LR service schedule for MY01 TD4 states 60k for fuel filters. I change ours annually as they cost little and help the injection system to maintain top performance. D..

Hi there. I have a 05 TD4. When I purchased it Land Rover grage said it was safe to leave it for 100Km. Is that a bit long? Plan to change it next service 90Km

Annually preferably or no later than 24,000 miles for the filter change. I think everyone agrees that 60,000 miles is way too long.
