Hi All,

Been running my Defender 200TDI CSW on Biodiesel for last 2 years no problem. Did do the usual 50/50 normal diesel in winter until forgot last couple of weeks, NOOOOOOOOOO!

With the freezing weather think it's gone thick and blocked fuel filter(0r crappy last batch of biodiesel poorly filtered!), severe loss in power, 5-10 mph foot flat to floor. Took off filter and diesel gushed out, under presure!

Probem I've got, live in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Landy Centre closed tomorrow, tried Wilco Motosave, don't stock??? Anyone know a 200tdi Fuel Filter stockist in Huddersfield that's open on Sunday? What about Halfrauds, any one with part no. I've got AEU2147L as Bearmach code?

Need to get over to Manchester tomorrow PM so need it sorting.

Your help alway appreciated.

Jonah (she still didn't let me down pulled me up our hill at 5mph, you beauty)

PS - Just put an ebay order in for a couple of spare fuel filters!

try a search for AEU2147L (genuine). Phone around or google it as there's so many different numbers on filters by different makers. Ye might be lucky with halfrauds tho';)

take filter off and empty contents into plastic jug... warm (not boil) jug contents in microwave, refill filter, gently shake for a few minutes... empty and repeat a few times, replace filter... prime and off you go.... I sometimes have same trouble and have got away with just shaking and emptying filter and then refitting and priming.

I am fairly certain Halfrauds do one - not sure of part number - but with yo reg number they can look it up for ya.

Aye they do. Just looked at one on sunday in our branch, also had another known make (black casing) but ah'll be fecked if ah can remember it!:doh::D

Nah, doesn't ring any bells pos mate... kinda thinkin' along the lines o' Champion but not sure:doh:;)

I know that champion filters are black. Can't think of any others besides mahl or mahle (however its spelt) that I know are black. Bosch even make their own fuel filter for the 200 / 300 tdi which I didn't know about until last week.
