Im new to Landrovers and my 1985 landy 90 2.5 petrol has just started kangarooing when i either accelerate up a hill or overtake. I have replaced the sparkplugs, distibutor cap, rotory arm, air filter and have taken apart the carb and 'gravity feed and cleaned them.

However I have tried to find the fuel filter, to see if that is clogged up, but can I find it???...hell no! WHERE IS IT???

Also if anybody has had any similar issues please any advice I would be mightly grateful.

this is a 200 but the filter will be in about the same place

1989 Defender with petrol filter under door. need to completely replace (stripped out thread) any suggestions??

do away with filter and put inline filter in engine bay you can get larger versions of clear inline filters
