Hello.
Not had mine long either and First tank I got 26 to the gallon. Since then I have changed the oil and filter, fitted new air filter and new thermostat.
The snow and ice hasn't helped fuel consumption so I'm expecting the same again as I've been doing town mileage at 20 mph following nervous car drivers.
Welcome to the madhouse by the way.
:welcome2:

thanks do i remove the egr valve altogether ihave changed the air filter ineed to do the diesel filter sorry but whers the sedimentor thanks again

yep remove it totally , buy the blanking plate or make one , the sedimenter is behind the drivers wheel tucked in behind the chassis

De-EGR it, change all filters as they said, de-Cat the exhaust and flush out the inter cooler. But having done all that, given that a Disco's ain't no sport's car and is basically a brick on wheels aerodynamically, going above 60mph will seriously dent the mpg no matter what we do to them.
