Does anyone know if the only difference between a D2 and D1 (1998) front wiper assembly is the electric connecting plug ??

I've got myself a new assy and it fits perfectly except there's a different plug on the wiring.

Also, the black and red wires going into the motor are reversed on the new one.

Any ideas ??

The D2 wiper assembly has superseded the D1 wiper assembly.

They are identical, except for the connector.

If using a D2 assembly on a D1, you have to use the adaptor harness YMQ104550
