front wheels and steering column shakes when i hit bumps in the road...
This strikes me as a maybe gib problem?

Two things
1 Swivel tension
2 Loose stearing box etc.

i normally get the dysleic ones . put your hand on track rod and then drag link and get someone to rock steering wheel hard you will feel play and whereabouts it is ,swivels and wheel bearing can be felt with wheel jacked up

Just to let you know i changed the bearing yesterday and the top swivel bush also needed replacing. Problem solved thanks for your help
