Hi ,Following doing some pre MOT checks on front end I raised air suspension and while doing so noticed indicator lights on switch had gone out. I also then got alarm messages up self levelling and air suspension inoperative. I realize I have to have these cleared by the independant I use but just wondering could I have caused this by jacking suspension up to get wheel back on as it had settled and I had no more height on my main jack. The car is sitting right down on front and high rear end.
Could I have caused a problem to a valve somewere by jacking the suspension arm.
If an air bag splits does it affect both front
Is the switch illumination affected by the faultcode , all fuses are ok
I intend to take a look at the compressor in the morning to see whats lurking under cover as it did seem a bit slow inflating when I made suspension changes but was working prior to me taking wheel off.
Thanks for any info

You have probably taken the height sensor out of it's normal operating range. PM Datatec and he will supply the lead and software for your laptop and you can reset it yourself.

Are we talking about an l322 or p38 I bit more info helps, if l322 they don't like the wheels dangling in mid air and allcoms from storey willson is the bit of kit you wont.

Odd the way people don't pick a thread label for the car anymore. Is it hidden? Seems a bit hit and miss.

New to the site and don't know my around it, thought I was in right section.Just appreciate suggestions from people with the knowledge to help people like me new to this vehicle with our problems.

As above the L322 isn't keen on dangling its legs...!!

It is more than likely the wiper in the height sensor has travelled to a less used part of the track and picked up some dirt and now the readings are hit and miss, so the system has shutdown.

All Comms is a great bit of kit for the 2002-2005 models, or for the later ones, there is Nanocom, Faultmate or IIDTool....

Wasn't you, particularly! Just n observation that maybe this new site isn't as obvious in many respects.

You're in the right place but it helps if you're clear up front on the model, engine and year as they've changed a lot over the years. Location helps too as there may be someone close with diagnostics. You'll see I've managed to get them into my details somehow.

Isn't that what I said in #2, but not in so much detail. :D

Here you get suggestions, help advice and sarcasm in equal measure.

Unless you mentioning putting coils on it.. then you'll have to buckle up for the insults.
Coils for an L322 ? that may be an improvement.:p:D:D. Thick skin and a sense of humour required on this forum, but you will get good advice as well.;)
