Any advice on what to get ?
Monroe
Britpart SuperGaz
Britpart Hydraulic
Something else
I don’t really need top of the range. It doesn’t get driven much now. Never goes off-road. I found an old thread with James Martin recommending SuperGaz. Anyone used them or got them on and can comment.

As you dont want the bests i can tell you is that i fitted Monroes long time ago based on forums then removed them after few months cos i felt like in a small boat on a wavy ocean, terrafirma rusted away in less than 3 years that's why i bit the bullet and bought Bilstein, i wish i knew to not waste money on the others... a friend of mine fitted Britpart cellular dynamic some time ago and he is pleased with them

I just bought a full set of Terrafirma for my 90.
I’m thinking of going for Britpart. Time will tell I suppose. Cheers

I fitted Terrafirma to my D1 when I bought it - all bar one rusted out in two years or so - the other one snapped !:mad: - made the handing interesting going around a roundabout with a heavy trailer on .....

Fitted SuperGaz and been very happy since ... SWMBO's D1 has SG on too.. :)

I fitted monroe gas shocks last year and i would recommend them
which reminds me I need to do the rears well

My front Terrafirmas shocks are about to give up the ghost after 6 years of use. I’ve got a set of +2” Fox 2.0 shocks to install next.
