Is there any way to test the front seat belt pre tensioners with a multimeter to see if they are faulty or ok.
I've just looked in the yellow connector it only as two wires, i'm curious about the brass contacts, do they just connect one wire to the other as a straight forward connection, they look to have a small prong on each that goes to the middle of the plug, does this close to make a short circuit when the other half of the connector is pushed in.
Will it be ok to cut the wires and join them together in case i just have a bad plug causing the srs light to come on.
