Hi, can anyone help me, had a squeaking coming from under car today, when I looked it's one of the UJ on the front prop shaft. Can I take this off and run as 2 wheel (rear wheel) drive temporarily and will it be okay to tow a small trailer like this? Got an important job on so won't have time to fix it until end of week and need to use it if possible until then, much appreciate any advice

no as no diff lock, viscous coupling may also be seized

You can drive it with front prop removed. But it will load viscous coupling. Towing will load it even more.

My front prop shaft came apart on the motorway last year.
I put the suspension in wading mode, opened the tailgate to disable the EAS.
Put the car jack under the chassis.
I then got underneath removed the front prop shaft completely.
I was able to drive home without a problem, but I did take it easy, no sudden acceleration etc..
