Hello folks...

Quick question...

Will a double cardon front prop for defenders with Sailsbury ##front diff fit one with STD front diff???

Or can it be made to fit easily?

Or would it be a nightmare!?

There nothing wrong with the standard axle and in fact it is also better at the rear too. Only reason they swap it is due to weight on 110 for towing however they don't do that on the Disco and that can tow the same!

It was more the prop I was wondering about. Need a double cardon front and have been offered really high quality one but its for sailsbury front axle so was just wondering if its an easy task to make it fit ie...just spacer etc? Or if it would be a nightmare?

I couldn't say.......

No worries. Thanks for the info anyway. Hopefully somebody will know the answer. If its just a case of adding spacer then it could be a good deal but only if its bolt on solutions.

When I fitted a Salisbury front axle the standard prop did not fit. I had to measure the length of the prop required then hunt for one. Mine is a 110, 200 tdi. The 300 tdi front prop did the trick. It's not that expensive to get a front prop custom made. I didn't want to go the spacer route. can cause problems especially when worked hard.
