I would expect one buzzer to be used for front and rear as front and rear sensors are never likely to be active at the same time. The sound is probably generated electronically and there will just be a little speaker somewhere in the dash.

Hi oem I also carried out a diagnostics but it's not showing anything wrong if I go line and look up front buzzer it shows similar to the back and there's a location under the dash above the foot peddle but there never seems to have been one there I am wondering if there was an upgrade on the 2006 model but cant fined no information anywhere

The sound speaker on an 04 is above the pedal and I believe front and rear sounds which are different come from the same speaker but could be wrong . I had an error last week saying the front sound or parking was not working I cleared error as I was under there looking for the havac resistor and disconnected the wiring to do that , the parking ecu had picked that up , but all fine now.I don.t know if that helps.

I had the 03 model before this and the front speaker was at the front but the 06 I have now theres not even a tail coming from the so no connector it's a puzzle while I had the 03 I tried swapping the ECU unit it case it was that still the same thanks for the help the search goes on.

It's a good job you people who seem to need parking sensors don't drive E Types.

Have you plugged it into a iid tool mine recently played up all sensors working but couldnt delete the fault decided to remove the rear bumper only to find a trapped wire

If you need front parking sensors, maybe you should learn how to drive. For rear fit a tow bar, if you hear a crunch stop reversing.

I have a rear parking sensor on my P38...

Does make an odd noise when you're "too close"..:confused:

Does the seat not rise up, she cant be any shorter that my wife and the p38 is the first car she can actually see the bonnet off.

Out of interest, the front and rear sensors on my A8 go off at the same time if they're "active". Can drive you mad in close traffic on a hill if vehicles fore and aft creep too close! Easy to switch them off individually as required. When BOTH going off, each with their own squarking getting more persistent before sounding continuously when VERY close is really annoying!
