Yella the ONLY time that a defender front is acceptable on a 2a is when its hiding a V8.
You know what you need to do.
Buy a big engin

I know some one that may well have one of these and is going to look for you. Failing this, I know where there is a series 2 that we were going to break as it is beyond help and I shall check the front panel for you. If you can wait a week or two!

dont worry stu, i'm converting it to a defenderr front now, ive sourced the parts dirt cheap so unless someone is willing to give me a series 2 fronty panel in good nick then i'm off ter fetch the defender bits this weekend, anmd i don't care what the purists say, owning a landy is about making it what you want so thats what i'm doing

ive got me a defender front for it now, 2 wings a bonnet and a complete front panel all fer 45 quid, not a bad deal
