Hi Guys
The heater blower on my 2004 L322 (V8 4.4) recently stopped working.
All lights etc on control panel were working, just fan would not run.
A friend knows a chap that works for a local LR dealer so took it to him, he had car for two days and could fix problem but said I needed a new entire control panel.
Not convinced he was right, I did some research on internet where advise was fault was probably the Final Stage Resistor (FSR).
Decided to try this and found a really good guide on how to change the FSR here: The Metric Rat » Blog Archive » Replacing the Final Stage (Blower) Resistor on a L322 Range Rover (MkIII) 2002
Ordered the FSR from: www.worldcarparts.co.uk which was delivered within 24 hours.
Set about changing the FSR yesterday, follwed the instructions from Metric Rat. Job took me ( a novice) about two hours, very fiddly but eventually managed to change FSR.
Heater fan now working great
Just thought I'd share this incase anyone else is having similar problems.
