i have recently purchaced my first freelander td4 , chuffed to bits with her but have a concern about a pipe running down from the engine wich seems to dispatch exhaust fumes when switched off after a run , is this right ? help please .

do a search for "FBH" ..

don't know exactly how they work .. when they operate 'n for how long ..
if there's a pipe under the near-side bumper .. and that's smoking ..
would indicate the vehicle has a 'fuel-burning-heater' fitted ..

~~~~~~~~~~
if it's another pipe your on about ..
e.g. behind the engine .. under the engine ..
describe it or post a pic of the offending item
( 'n someone will know what pipe it is )
thanks for that , its a starter for ten , thought there was something seriously wrong , mind now at ease .
