Hi all I’ve had a research through the forums and I’m still slightly confused.
My 2 doors are completely rotten and I’m going to be replacing them . Mine is the 1989 model . I’ve heard people saying that all doors fit and I’ve also heard people saying modifications need to be made .
I have seen a set on the internet new for £780 and it has the push button door handle rather than my latch handles . Am I right in thinking all doors should fit my 90 ?
Thanks All

I think they all fit, you may have to change the catches on the door pillar, but they are only a few quid.
As a matter of interest, my 89 Ninety had push button doors. It may be that yours have already been changed. Do you have wind up windows?
Series doors also fit, but have sliding windows and no door cards.

Yes but you will need the glass, regs, door cards etc for the push button doors too and the B Piller catch and A post check strap.

If you find a door that's fits your pretty lucky. The door handles and catch is were the modification needed. Also inside door card too. The old version are pretty robust compared to the newer ones.

Mine have the sliding windows also and and seem as though the door could disconnect into 2 parts to make a safari jeep type look

That sounds like Series doors. In that case, as they say^^^^^, you will need quite a bit of other stuff to fit newer ones.

That’s not a problem I don’t mind buying door cards and glass ect . Do I need to buy a new door handle catch ?

If you're buying like for like it worth buying replacement Piller catches. Buying the old version definitely as they are thicker type.due to the heavier lock mechanism.

I think there may be some confusion going on?
My posts are related to swooping lift up handle doors for push button doors, every thing is available to build up pb doors, earlier doors, not so much.

Could be. They didn't when I was trying to get them for mine about 10 years ago.
£80 each:eek: just looked.
The other bits cost a bomb too.
I got 4 rusted out 110sw doors , push button, when I fitted 4 new pb doors to replace the rusted out lift up handle ones. I had to replace the rubbers and glass guide felt though but the pricey bits were all still good, door cards, glass, regs, internal reg panels etc.

I got second hand ones, they were quite expensive, and then spent ages spraying Waxoyl into cavities, and assembling the best bits of both sets into two doors.
I wish I had just got new Series doors, much less hassle, and they are simple, so you don't get many problems with those.
