Slow bump into post, cracked the centre section, what are my options ?

Just stopped 25mm too late.

Will be checking the breakers later .

If you dig through "Wheeler Dealers" there is at leasy one brill one where they show you how to fix quite extensive damage.
My front bumper has needed repair ever since the previous owner drove it over a tree stump.
Still need to get a round tooit.

OK will have a go with my hot air plastic welder, but teh bumper centre section is so brittle

You can, I believe, get repair kits which might contain reinforcing things with holes that let the liquid plastic through. You can do it yourself with mesh, or thin plate with holes in.

I had colour coded gaffer tape on mine for years until a minor bump, shatered it, not worth repairing as it was so brittle, so I opted for a 5mm steel one, if yours did the same its just years of sun damage, well Ivery happy with this one

I do need to find my black roll for now.

Boss wanted me in work today but as I pranged after a day in the office, AFTER getting a lift home, working remotely as normal. If he wants to golf after work I will WFH.

Sue does not want to spend a day in our office.

I only drove as we had to take dog to vets, normally I will not drive if at all fatigued due to safety.

When I got mine the o/s fog lamp was broken along with the bumper so I took the bumper to a local body shop who built up/plastic welded & reinforced that area & for £50 did a splendid job leaving me to just add a replacement lamp off flea bay.

Amazingly that it extremely close to where the damage on mine is. The fog lamp remained mearly intact.
Your pics show what can be done!

£50 very well spent!!
