Guys - I'm being daft

I've cocked up one order and have confused myself re: the right part number for the front pads (My Defender has discs front and rear, and vin reads SAL*****MA95****)

Think the part number has changed several times, and should be STC2975 - is that right?

Also struggling to find anything other than Mintex (I've read the threads so wish to avoid!) or LR Original. Any other brands/online suppliers gratefully received:)

yep they should be SFP000260 but LR Series say they could also be the following numbers:

S/S STC2952
S/S RTC5574
S/S STC1275
S/S SFP000140
S/S RTC5574

I fit either EBC Green stuff pads or genuine myself, EBC are about £30 or try keeping an eye out on ebay for cheap genuine ones. You are wise tro avoid Mintex on a 90

Cheers

You're spot on - the part numbers have changed many times!

Ended up ordering STC2952EBC from Paddocks - £24.50 ex VAT

Also decided to replace 3 of the calipers - some of the pistons were somewhat less than shiny, ane well beyond cleaning up.

Thought about replacing just the pistons, but the caliper housings were so rusty, thought might turn out to be a false economy.

Anyway, in true Landy style what I expected to be a £40 for parts pad change all round has grown to £290 - at least I'm not paying labour;)

no point in trying to fit pistons to rusty calipers as you say,but surely 4 calipers would be better i would only fit new on both sides and used if replacing one
