Can anyone tell me where the front blowers relay is located and how I access it.

I have renewed the hedgehog final stage resistor, checked and changed fuses 34 & 64 and I still have no front blowers.

I have noticed though, when I turf on my blowers at the central control panel I get a slight buzzing noise and when I turn the blowers off at the central panel the slight buzzing stops..........

I am beginning to get rather frustrated with my blowers not blowing problem and would really appreciate. Some more advise and assistance to prevent me from having to take it in to the main stealers

Thank you to everyone that has already helped me on this forum, it is greatly appreciated and I hope to be able to return the favour to someone on here one day!!!!!!

Don't think there is one

Control knob sends power to resistor in which then powers the motor directly

Buzzing could be the faulty motor in the fan ?

Or your hearing sounds from the little fans in the interior thermistor sensor in the dash ?

Download RAVE, check the wiring diagram and test for voltage with a meter:D

I think the blower motor is fed from the resistor plug as suggested earlier as the resistor is what regulates the speed to the motor
So if the hedgehog is accessible, it should be possible to test the output to the blower with a meter?

Thanks for replies.

Ok, I can acces the hedgehog resistor and the wires connecting into it from under the drivers foot well, however I am not 100% sure how I then go about testing it..... Any advice would be very welcomed.

Also, I spoke to my local 4x4 specialist garage today and they advised me it is a 4 day job to take out and replace the heater blower motor (removing front seats, full dash, full centre console, and various bits and bobs)' surely this can't be correct, I appreciate it may be a pretty big job but 4 days?????????

4 mechanics x 4 days = 4x4 specialist:D

Could be faulty FSR (resistor)? I replaced mine 10 months ago and got a feeling it may of gone again, I read on another forum one guy had fitted 3 in 3 years!

Hi,
Had problem diagnosed as heater blower motor seized. Purchased a new new one and going to start stripping the dash at the weekend. Hopefuly Ill be able to do it ok.
