This must sound quite random but my front right wheel more or less fell off a couple of weeks back no build up just felt like a flat tyre checked about seemed ok. Drove it to a garage and the wheel was more or less half attached :doh:.
So I am looking for a front axle for my 94 Defender 90 300tdi
Do the Disco front axles fit and what year am I looking for if anyone can help.
Also are 110 axles identical?

You shouldn't need a whole axle, probably wheel bearings or a problem with the swivel housing. Disco axle will fit but how will you know you're not putting one on that's just as knackered as the one you're taking off?

The guy at the garage reckons that the whole hub/swivel housing/calipers need replacing so it seems I may be better off getting the whole front axle?

what year? I have an early 90 axle in the garage 110 uses bigger calipers and dependant on year and engine CV's and shafts are different. If you want my 90 one it'll be 100 quid and it will need looking at been stood for a couple of years. But its not damaged or has any hubs falling off Jai
