After a good day at a pay and play day ive developed a crunching/grinding and juddering when pulling away, it feels like its coming from the front passenger corner, anyone got any ideas what it could be?
Any help greatly appreciated
Cheers in advance

Halfshaft, as said, UJ, CV joint, diff, transfer box, in that order-ish .. ;)

Do your brakes go soft? if so then its wheel bearing/hub assembly. If its louder when turning and a noticable click at low speeds then cv. I would jack ot up and start stripping, it all comes apart in order so sooner or later you will find the problem...

The brakes still feel good, and does seem worse when steering especially on full lock, will have to have a look when my broken finger feels a bit better

id look sooner than later

Agreed, yours has broken under stress so likelyhood is its a failure and not just worn, if its a cv it has the possibility to lock up and that will whip you straight off the road or into traffic especially in a landrover!

I not driving it at the moment, im using the car till i get a chance to have a look at it, i drove it back from the pay and play and has been parked since, so you guys reckon its the cv then
Cheers for the replies its much appreciated
