Hello,

i was having a look over my series 3 today and noticed that both the front axel swivels seam rather pitted and the diver side, looks worse (see pics) seams to have been leaking for a while

Does anyone know what the best cause of action is, can you get them re-coated or just buy new ones?

just replace with new. they're not expencive

I bought Teflon coated ones from paddocks a few years ago and still going strong

google 539741 £70 ish seems aout right ,you will need new bearing, bush/pin ,seals etc or kit too

is it worth changing CVs and **** while your in there - even if theres no outwardly signs of wear or just leave that for another day ?

removed the bush on top of mine the other day and surprisingly they leaked once the vacumn was released......i was hoping not to do it but it seems i have to.
