1998 - 2006 LAND ROVER FREELANDER CENTRE CONSOLE WITH LID & SWITCHES IN BLACK | eBay

My 2001 commercial has one like that as standard. - Grey, not black though.

The front edge slips under the lower part of the centre console under the handbrake and is held with 2 screws. The rear is held with 2 more screws, accessible through the console by lifting out the centre of it, that go into brackets either side of the handbrake cable.

Its a handy storage cupboard, but it aint no arm rest. unless you have oddly shaped arms.

Oh, and the rear power point and ash tray cant be accessed due to being almost tight up against the mesh bulkhead.

I have upgraded from the crappy console to this arm rest ok mine isnt a commercial but doubt it matters as you can convert the commerical to a 5 seater

That's good then was it a fiddly job? My concern was the load mesh and weither it would be in the way or not does it also keep the 12v socket?

Picked one up on fleabay with best offer for £20 not bad as it was up for £48, will it use the same mountings as th on low level handbrake cover?

Hope its a black leffer wun ;)

Tbh not sure as I said any will do prefer cream to match interior then black then whatever its only a work van so not too fussed, there's more dust than interior at the min anyway lol..

Just curious if I move the switches to it will a double din stereo fit where the window switches are at the min?

You will need the back bracket or make your own I made my own

Also did u get switches or blanks aswell

I rewired my windows so the work from the arm rest

To get it cheap I said happy with blanks so will see what turns up but they are the same by the looks, so a double din will fit, there nothing behind obstructing it?
