Hi

Carrying on from my previous thread, if I were to replace my worn out front ACE actuator with a new, does the ACE system need to be bled, and is this done by a dealer or specialist ?

Thanks:cool:

after u put the new actuator top up the tank if needed then go for a harsh ride with lots of curves if you can...it will bleed itself(then check again the oil level) ... if you'll have suspicions about air trapped in find somebody with nanocom or hawkeye to run the bleed procedure) ... i've never needed it

Cool - cheers !!!!

Oh yeah, do I need any special tools to take it off ? I've looked at the rave info and looks pretty straight forward ?? I've found a seller on eBay selling new actuators for around £80 - there is a second hand one, but I think a new one is best :)
