Evening all, recently wrote off my VW T4 of 7 years by taking water into the engine, not over it yet. Spent the insurance money on a 2003 defender 110 with 106 thou miles on the clock. Started sitting on one cushion but I'm up to two now and the view is much better.
I can't find a guard that opens to keep the dogs out of the cab but let them in when I want or allow me climb through when Im camping, any ideas? Im thinking I will have to make one with the mid section lifting upwards and forward with a magnetic clip onto the cab roof . Next thing is which rubber matting to cover the load space.

My dog guard unscrews at the bottom slides out... It was from flatdog :)

Unless I've completely misunderstood...then as you were :)

And hello :)

Ah cheers Marmaduke and Rosie, I'll check those out and thanks very much for the welcome everyone else, that was very nice :)

Welcome

A VW T4 is a top piece of kit, when I had G Wagon a guest of the club used to occasionally turn up in his for off road events, it did very well!

Very difficult to find a replacement so a 110 makes a great alternative.

Have a look on YouTube at ' Landrover defender wading deep flood water' then tell that you 're still mourning the demise of your overrated Bavarian van.
