A huge thank you to everyone who responded, especially the andyfreelandy ones. I already have the necessary spare parts in my hands (I just received them) Now I will call the master and make an appointment for repairs. I hope the problem was precisely in these spare parts)))

Good day!
Please help - the alarm key fell and the car stopped responding to it. Took apart the key fob - it turned out that the battery contacts had fallen off. Soldered back - the machine does not respond to button presses. Maybe the key fob got loose, does anyone know the key combination to program it back? Thank you!

Did you try clicking the remote 5 times?

TBH, those battery contacts are really tiny solders - you need a magnifying glass and a very steady hand to do it.

I'd double check those solders, make sure they are good and not shorting anything.

But @Alibro has the right 1st thing to try!

Тhanks guys for responding! Yes, I pressed it five times, went to the master, he checked with some kind of device - the signal from the remote comes out. In an hour there will be a master - he said he will try to program it

Thanks for the update and we'll done !! Can you please make clear what stopped the jolting ?? Did you change the gearbox ecu??

I have one that does this sometimes!!

Yes, the last problem was in the gearbox control unit (it was installed from the gasoline version) and when I installed it as needed (the old native one), everything returned to normal But note that before that I replaced all the solenoids. It is not known for sure what exactly brought the gearbox back to normal.

Most of the time my wife drives the car, she really liked the Freelander (but she's already looking at MАMА)
Freel drives and, so far, has not caused any problems.
Recently I went for a suspension diagnosis - to replace the ball joints (MooG), steering tips (Lemforder) and stabilizer struts (TRW).
at the rear, only the silent blocks of the longitudinal rods were need to be replaced.
taking the opportunity, I ordered a full set of polyurethane rubber bands for the car (including engine mounts and stabilizer bushings and steering rods)
at the price of spare parts, I spent 14,500.00UAH (£265)
Аlso ordered and already installed a new tailgate handle (wife ordered it in China) (£20) and the handle came without a lock larva - does anyone know what can it come from, or have a part number?

It just changes over from your original one

The lock mechanism only lowers the window so is pretty pointless. I've never even tried to use mine in all the years I've had Freelanders.
Can you come up with a rubber bung or such to block the hole?

Of course I can cover this view with some nice plug, but I would like it to be fully functional. It looked like the mechanism from the WV transporter would fit.

This question is not urgent, but it is an eye-catcher

Last weekend I went on vacation with my family to the Transcarpathian region.

There and back it was 950 kilometers, which Freel covered with ease and with a fuel consumption of 7.5 liters per 100 kilometers. He could have done less, but he drove about 150 kilometers on mountain roads.

During some overtaking, he again began to "hit the wall" at a speed of 120, but this did not happen often. And once it happened at a speed of 150.

I think the problem may be in the turbine control. But I will not go there. My wife drives much more carefully, she will have enough ))))

You really do not want to hit a wall doing 150 ks - it would make a right mess.
