Hope you're smoking a pipe and wearing slippers whilst you're reading that book Alan ¦~}It seems to me some cnut has a mediocre idea and everyone jumps on the bandwagon so rehashed "programs" get churned out, none with any true worth IMHO Rant over, I'll finish watching the news then continue reading a book.

Rotating the bulb as you describe plus realignment was all that was needed. Mine has been going through the CT like that with no beam benders for 13 years nowBending a tab on the bulb back & rotating it plus final adjustment with a stick-on beam bending lens was how I got mine through the CT.

As far as CT's are concerned I go the extra mile ( quite a few kilometers actually ) to a chap who knows Land Rovers inside out, as an example when Buttercup was tested he had pre-warned me to remove the front prop so he could do the brake test on his rollers.
Well it worked because she came away with a clean ticket.
They should have a set of rollers for the untested axle, first they go under the rear wheels while the fronts are on test, then under the fronts when the rears are on test. I do have to remind the tester to use them every time though. As far as CT's are concerned I go the extra mile ( quite a few kilometers actually ) to a chap who knows Land Rovers inside out, as an example when Buttercup was tested he had pre-warned me to remove the front prop so he could do the brake test on his rollers.
