Good Morning.

I have a 52 plate Freelander. Can anyone tell me what parts from face lift Freelanders fit. Eg Headlights & front grill assembly. Also whats the largest alloy wheel and tyre combination that fits reasonably? Thanks

Been thinking about tyres recently again myself.

Research suggests the BIGGEST you can fit are 235/70/16's without any mods.

Though it depends what engine you've got. An unmodified K series and the biggest i'd fit is 215/70/16 as it doesn't need as much power to shift them.

The Freelander Sport has 235/50 R18's on. With only 110bhp on a TD4 and raised suspension on the rest of the Freelander range - this is completely pointless to be honest. (Having 50 profile tyres).

They look good in the city, but are very costly to replace the tyres. If considering occasionally going off-road best going with 17'' BBS wheels for looks or the usual 16'' which are far cheaper and can fit more off-road type tyres.

Really?...you can put tyres up to 235 wide on a standard set up Td4 (with Freedom 16" wheels)...without the need for spacers? That would be superb. Without sounding terribly dull is it known if 215/75/16's would fit - for additional ground clearence (for the avoidance of doubt, yes, I do understand the engineering priciple of corner loaded weight and the effects of increased wheel diameter on the engine/gearbox/drivetrain)

good....

Tis a good job but not quite to my taste. The body sits a bit too high for my liking. I know it'd be hard to achieve but if the body hid the blue chassis, it would look top.
