My Freelander currently has 215 65 16 road tyres on what size you I be able to put on as I'm wanting to put some all terrains on I was hoping to put a slightly bigger tyre but keep them on 16s? Thank you

For starters Ron try asking in the Freelander section not the section specifically for engines and be prepared to have a few handbags thrown at you for not searching :p

In fact @blue beasty do you think you could move this to help him out :D

Ha sorry guys I also just finished putting an engine in today if that's any consolation was a pain too wish I'd read a few treads on here first would of dropped it out the bottom rather than lift it out there's always next time tho ha the great BMW engine lol snapped crankshaft

Maximum tyre size depends on which wheels you use. The standard 46ET 16" rims will take a 225/70/16 with space to spare;)

There are a couple of recent threads in the Freelander section, you don't have to scroll back far.
