Hi, :D

I know there's a lot on here about converting a Freelander Commercial to a car, but I'm looking at converting my Freelander TD4 2003, 105K, for commercial use.
I know I'll need to source bulkhead, side panels and floor (is there anything else I'll need?), if I can get a commercial roof I will do or I'll dark tint the rear side windows and rear window.
Obviously I'll need to unbolt and remove rear seats, same to existing side panels and rear seat belts then fit replacement parts, but is there any other advise anyone can give me please?
Wondering if I'll get away with keeping the smaller rear seat in place and folded, but still be able to fit bulkhead?
Any other snags I might come across?
Before anyone says why the hell would I want to do this my works van is almost certainly going to be written off next week by insurers, we were looking at changing LR car anyway and not easy to find non vat vans that aren't a pile of crap! Owned the LR from new and so far none of the 'usual' faults and of course I know it's history.

Cheers

if it were me i would tint the rear windows. Easily done and cheaper and doesnt look like a work van. I would just get handy with a bit of thin ply aswell...i cant comment on anything else though. I just fold my seats and put a mat down on the floor. Enough room for me

if it be of any use ..
here's a pic of the standard ( 2006 ) interior :

Why not see it you can swap parts with someone that wants to turn theirs into a car. Money need not change hands then.

On the conversion does any one know how the rear seat strikers go once bulkhead and panel floor been takin out?
