looking to buy a 2002 freelander td4 140000 on the clock, would this be a good purchase, i have asked about and most people tell me freelanders of this age are due to transmission proplems is this true, please help !!

Mate, go and introduce yaself in the introduction section and you will get a better response, tis polite to say hello etc, folk on here are not keen on the one post wonders that just want to ask a question :)
 
Why give the guy grief, just because he thinks he's buying an FL2 4 years before it was produced and believes the millage, doesn't make him gullible.
 
Without sounding flippant, how do you expect someone to be able to answer your question with the amount of information you have given?

For example - I've been offered a 5 year old shed, its brown coloured, is this a good deal
