Freelander TD4 will not start or turn over even with a jump start. dash board lights now flashing. central locking clicking when trying to operate.

Welcome to the site and feel free to introduce yourself. Could well be immobiliser triggered. A serious dead car battery. A fuel cut off switch triggered.

i had a similar thing happen to me, it turned out to be a dead battery even though it showed up as good on two seperate testers

Thanks for the advice. I brought a new battery and it is now starting fine. However the rear door window has gone up to high and back door is difficult to close. Even when the back door is fully closed the rear window will now not go down. I just get a bleeping noise when I operate the switch to go down and when I tried operating the switch to go up and I can hear the motor operating but the window will not go down afterwards. i TRAWLED THROUGH PREVIOUS SUGGESTIONS AND FOUND 1 THAT SUGGESTED RE-CALIBRATION However it said you need to disable the anti-theft device. Is this on the key fob.

To calibrate the tailgate door window press the rear window button to go fully down until stop. next press to go back up until full stop. For the tailgate to shut ensure the window drops by a inch. Or you can lower the window fully by using the fob key press open near the tailgate until the window drops then close the door. Next use your ignition key to the tailgate and turn it to the right fully until the window goes up.
