Have read the threads, but am getting stuck now.

Originally had an issue with the back door not opening and the window sticking.

I disconnected the battery for more than 30 seconds and reconnected it.

Now the door opens, but the window doesn't drop when it (first) opened, so now when I go to close it the rear window is out side of the seals. If I press the button on the console it beeps, so something must be acknowledging it.

Typlically it's Saturday afternoon and no where is open that can help.

I know its not a major thing and could wait til Monday... hopefully it won't rain, but I'm in Scotland so what are the chances of that???

I've read some comments that it might be the rear window relay, but... if anyone can offer any advice or suggestions I'd be grateful.

have u tried putting the key in the read door lock and turning it and holding it to bring the window down, then closing the door and turning the key to shut the window?

also on the remote fob, hold the open door button untill the back window goes right down.
shut door and close window and see if it resets itself?

Yeah, I've tried both of those and no success.

Think its going to have to be a trip to the garage on Monday.

Really hope it doesn't rain between now and then!!!

Take the door card off by removing 4 screws under the pocket and 2 small bolts either end of the window rubber. Pull the card away from the sides first and then lift off. Peel the foam padding away.

Now look to see what the problem really is. It may be a broken cable but if it is at least you can close the door and push the window up manually to seal properly.
