Owned an 06 3 door Freelander TD4 for 6 months after a Mitsy Pinin was haemorrhaging cash. Love it. All good, however, from cold the engine starts first time (9/10 times). If I stop outside a shop, and switch off for 5 mins, it will start again first time. If I have switched off for 30-90 mins, it will always start first time, but cut out/stall after 3 seconds. The throttle in this time is unresponsive. It will then start perfectly on the second go. Please help as I dont want to spend loads on something the mechanic cant find if this is a common fault. Thanks

Ping your question for advice in the Freelander" section, as this is just where you introduce yourself.
Have you sought any Medical advice for your decision to buy a Landy yet?
