Hi, I am a newby and looking for some advice.
I have a L series freelander diesel w reg.
I would like to know if there is any connection between the SRS light coming on and poor starting from cold.
SRS light comes on between five to eight miles, and the starting, once started is good until left standing again overnight.

Sounds like a weak battery, what voltage do you have at the battery terminals after it has stood overnight?

Welcome to the forum. Have you had a cambelt/pump timing belt done? I had poor or non -starting on L series that was just a smidgeon out at the pump (less than a mill) which was fine until the cold weather came.
