Hi, i am new to the site and wondered if anyone could help me, my tail gate window goes down on occasions without pressing the button, does anyone have any ideas please.

Have you checked the connections behind the switch?

The multi function control module may be defective? Get over to the Freelander section, I'm sure this problem has been addressed there?

same problem here (freelander 1, td4,2006). My landy-magician tells me it will go from bad to worse, resulting in a new piece of electronics.....not nice.
I must say, that it occurs more often when the car is not locked.....
