It's old enough that any affected vehicles will have been rectified by now. Should have been spotted on their PDI or service time or worst case an MOT
 
Just thought it might be a bit of useful info for any that may have got overlooked. At least if anyone searches this defect there will be an answer for them now
 
130 vehicles is bull**** to be fair. And i don't think it's because of the wrong size nut. The box just wasn't made strong enough. Mine only cracked last year, and they'll be a whole load of others yet to crack as well i bet. I can't be arsed comparing my chassis number to the ones in that doc, but i bet a fair few that have cracked are out of that range.

The thread title is misleading freebiker, this recall was nothing to do with cracked chassis or subframes......
