Hi fellow Freelander members. I thought my intuitive idea for a makeshift rear-parcel shelf might be of interest to others. It isn't really strong enough to rest anything of weight on, but it does give privacy to anything carried in the rear storage. And too many looky-lookies are on the prowel, these days.

The fabric was bought from a DIY store, and is really a floor covering.
The studs are from the same store and are press-studs. Easily fitted.
The whole lot cost me no more than 12 Euros. A bargain.
It can be easily removed and stowed too.
 
Certainly a lot cheaper than the original LR part, which are now as rare as hens teeth. (and pre-facelift cup holders!)

You can add some nice thin ply under material to support it. But that means You can't just roll it and stick it at the back :mad:
