summit u wanna tell us why u were looking for gaylanders?
does it have sockets for curling tongs / hair dryers ect ? oh! and a tampax dispenserHalf the price it was a year ago. No spares with it now. Doors dun't fall orf.
A £2000 rally Freelander is pure fiction. A sub £1000 Freelander will need so much overhauling of parts like the IRD,Headgasket (1.8), brake systems etc and this will cost a small fortune.Second hand IRD £350, headgasket replacement up to £400, new brakes all round £??? You cannot buy a cheap Freelander and just expect to throw loads of kit at it to make it reliable enough to do a rally. If you do then you will fail at the first hurdle.I think it was LRO who had an article a year or so ago with a pro rally driver showing you how to buy + kit out to spec a gaylander for rallying. It cost a total of £2k with roll cage.
I'm struggling to find the £11k of extras that one has to make it worth buying.
