could be tyre noise should have the best tyres to the front on the gaylander un all the same type . . .up yer pressure ta 31 psi un try it agin. . . .:)

well. . . as yer well aware shaun its very difficult ta pin a whine like that . . . .but loads have changed the tyres for it ta totally disapear, ma self included. . . . .

Shaun,
As Mingey sez, the tyres are normally a fave for this, but check yer diff after a run, if its just slightly warm its ok, if yer can fry an egg on it like mine was its fubbarred.........

Shaun,
No probs Mate, my dif fried due to dif oil leaking from a duf seal. The diffs on Capri 2.8's were notorious for being noisy if run on old oil/low oil. New oil or slik50/similar used to help em, but whiney difs were common. Fink with the landy diffs, if its whiney its fooked....

where on sub frame
The cracked rear chassis/failed welds is a common one Shaun, pain to get to as well. Woulda fort it would give a banging rather than a whine tho Mad, not sure what a cracked wheel bearing'd sound like, daft as it sounds just eliminating the spensive stuff first if i can....;)

had a good look at the sub frame seems ok. also took it 4 long run, felt the diff it was warm but not hot enough to cook an egg on so thats my t out of the window
