I forgot to take before and after pictures, but took measurements from one rear tyre, before it was 105mm from top of tyre to top of arch, and after it was 135mm which is weird as 40mm has been added, but its sitting on uneven ground so maybe that's why

Measure between the wheel centre & wheel arch, that will rule out different tyre sizes, standard Freelander is about 18" between hub centre to underside of wheelarch

Did you reset the inboard bushes to the new suspension hight? If not that could explain some of the hight loss.

well whatever, Im happy, just finished a day at our woods, although the freelander is still at home as brakes need bleeding Im driving the vitara, but I digress, met my other woodland buddies, and thought it would be a good time to measure ground clearances at the lowest point
the defender was 8 1/2"
the disco was 9"
on getting home, my freelander is 9 1/2" :clap2::clap2::clap2:
and thats on 15" rims

Cool, nice vid.
Just measured my tyre to arch clearance, 145mm front and 135mm rear with 50mm lift kit and 235/70/16 BFG AT tyres. Centre of the wheel to arch is 19.75" front and 19.25" rear. Floor to arch is 840mm front and 830mm rear.
this dont make sense, just measured mine, front tyre to arch 155mm front, 145mm rear
from arch to centre of tyre/wheel was around 500mm on both

Think my drive slopes back slightly.....there probs 140mm front and back, and 19.5" centre of wheel to arch, my tyres are alot bigger too.
D'oh, didn't think bout the bigger tyres,lol

so finally got the brakes bled today, it definetly feels higher than it was, or is that because I've been driving the vitara for a few weeks
anyhow, measured it on flat ground and it's not what I first thought, from lowest point (rear diff) to ground I have 8 1/2", but thats still as much as another plot holders defender on big tyres, so Im happy, now its just fingers crossed that nothing goes bang

On my Sport, the centre of wheelcap to bottom of wheel arch (on road biased 215/65/16 snow tyres) is 410.7mm on a slight downhill surface, and yours lifted is now 500mm. So you've got 89.3mm gap more than me, which is 3.51 inches more than my Sport!
The lift effect you got is huge and suits the vehicle much more.

Don't know were the feck your getting your measurements from but my stock Defender 90 200tdi
is nearly 10" under axle ground clearance
and just under 13" underbody with 235/85 16
ohh ye and me doors don't fall off in the rain
