How much distance is there between your tyres and the wheel arch?
Just wondering because it looks the same as mine, although if I have a lift kit fitted I didn't know it!
I forgot to take before and after pictures, but took measurements from one rear tyre, before it was 105mm from top of tyre to top of arch, and after it was 135mm which is weird as 40mm has been added, but its sitting on uneven ground so maybe that's why
Cool, nice vid.
Just measured my tyre to arch clearance, 145mm front and 135mm rear with 50mm lift kit and 235/70/16 BFG AT tyres. Centre of the wheel to arch is 19.75" front and 19.25" rear. Floor to arch is 840mm front and 830mm rear.
Think my drive slopes back slightly.....there probs 140mm front and back, and 19.5" centre of wheel to arch, my tyres are alot bigger too.
Did you reset the inboard bushes to the new suspension hight? If not that could explain some of the hight loss.
met my other woodland buddies, and thought it would be a good time to measure ground clearances at the lowest point
the defender was 8 1/2"
the disco was 9"
on getting home, my freelander is 9 1/2" :clap2::clap2::clap2:
