Hello everyone
I live in central Russia, in a village. I have a pre-styling Freelander, built in 2000, 2.5 liters. I put a lot of effort into it to make it a comfortable and convenient car - I replaced the engine with a contract one, changed half of the suspension, automatic transmission, and much more.

Welcome to LZ.
Pictures always do down well here, people love pictures of the car and anything in your country that is different to ours.

There is a specific Freelaner's section/forum here:

What is your thoughts on the current 'special military operation' in Ukraine ?
Are you still able to get spares for your car ?
If 'yes', where do you get them from ?

What 'village in Central Russia?' are you north of Novosibirsk ?
Your location says MockBa which is a lot closer to Scotland than the center of Russia.

It's monstrous. And this is a terrible crime against a neighboring country. It hurts me a lot because I have a lot of friends in Ukraine.

Under the conditions of sanctions, my car turned into a kind of automotive cannibal. The car "eats" spare parts from other cars. In small quantities, original spare parts arrive in Russia by detours. However, as a rule, they are bought by owners of more expensive and modern land rovers. I do not belong to the stratum of rich and wealthy Range Rover owners.

You're right. There are two different concepts - the geographical center of Russia and the political term "Central region of Russia". It is also called the Central Federal District. It includes the city of Moscow and the surrounding 17 regions and cities.

“… I do not belong to the stratum of rich and wealthy Range Rover owners…”
Er, P38 owners are generally neither rich nor wealthy, viz:
”You have a Range Rover so you must have lots of money”
”I have a Range Rover, so therefore I have no money at all”
… and welcome to LZ.
