I thought they were the ones who did the LR version on the Dell laptop for dealers.
Yes I think they are. They make the hawkeye too but bearmach claim it's theirs also. Neither of them can supply a manual for the hawkeye but both seem to want to make out they own it when talking to them.

Look out for a used Rovacom Lite - they are the predecessor to the Blackbox Faultmate MSV and run the same software...

:behindsofa:

A used Rovacomlite will have software already licenced on it no doubt, if it's for a Freelandie that's a bonus but it could be for a Disco, P38, Rover 75 or even a Morgan.
I started off with a Rovacomlite (RCL) and used it for many years. However it threw a wobbly and I wanted to send it back to Blackbox for repair. Blackbox had then bought out the Faultmate extreme and no longer supported the repair of the RCL. They will however take the RCL in part ex. against the Faultmate and transfer all licenced software over to the new unit FOC.
If you manage to get a used RCL, make sure it comes with the separate Vehicle Communication Interface (VCI) which is a small black plug in box.
The later Faultmate comes with the VCI built in.
